Welding

Welding is one of the main activities in “Bulmachinery Enterprises” Ltd. The process provides full production cycle of welded constructions. The production cycle includes cutting, grooving, welding, inspection of the welds, if necessary – post weld heat treatment.

“Bulmachinery Enterprises” Ltd. has the most advanced equipment, which enabling of modern welding technologies and obtaining high quality.

The following welding methods are in use:

• Semi-automatic welding by inert or active gas
• Semi-automatic and automatic submerged arc welding (SAW)
• Manual arc welding
• TIG welding

Welding activities are certified by TÜV NORD – Bulgaria.

“Bulmachinery Enterprises” Ltd.  is certified according to БДС EN ISO 3834-2 for manufacturing of welded constructions. The certificate has been issued by TÜV NORD – Bulgaria. The company is certified according to EN1090-2- system for integrated production control and it is in certification process for total manufacturing control certification.

The welding specialists have been certified according to EN287-1 and EN15614-1.

The available welding equipment and technologies ensure high manufacturing quality according to existing European standards.

The company has the following welding machines:

• Semi-automatic welding machines (500 ÷ 1 000 A, thickness of the welding  wire 0.8  ÷  2.4 mm)
• Automatic submerged arc welding columns

 - Max.  height – 14 000 mm

- Max. horizontal stroke – 6 000 mm

- Max. sheet thickness – 150 mm (one-sided welding) / 300 mm (both sides welding)

• Rolling beds (horizontal) for submerged welding manipulations
• Vertical manipulators for submerged welding manipulations
• Movable stand for welding of rotary parts:

-Max. diameter of workpiece – 10 000 mm

-Max. loading capacity of the rolls – 250 tons

-The stand is equipped with a welding head for submerged arc welding, A6 type
